Our Commitment

Jenny Tate and the jenny.mortgage website are committed to making this site accessible to as many people as possible, including those using assistive technologies such as screen readers, keyboard navigation, and voice input software. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA as our target standard.

This website is run by Jenny Tate, Mortgage Agent Level 1 (FSRA licence M22002086), who works through the brokerage Tango Financial Mortgage (ON) Corporation, FSRA brokerage licence 13691.

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We review and improve the site's accessibility as we make updates and additions to the content and design.

Current Status

We are making a best-effort commitment to accessibility across all pages on this site. This includes:

• Skip-to-content links on some pages, including the home page, to support keyboard navigation
• Semantic HTML structure with proper heading hierarchy (H1, H2, H3)
• Descriptive alt text on meaningful images
• Sufficient colour contrast ratios between text and background
• Form fields with associated labels
• Focus-visible indicators for keyboard navigation
• ARIA landmark regions (nav, main, footer) to support screen readers

Known Limitations

There are some areas of the site where accessibility may be limited:

• Calendly booking widget: The discovery call booking widget is a third-party embed from Calendly. Calendly has their own accessibility commitments. If you have difficulty using the widget, you can also book by calling (647) 642-7249 or emailing info@jenny.mortgage.
• Older blog posts: Some structural or accessibility attributes may be inconsistent across older posts.
• Complex layouts on mobile: Some sections of the homepage use multi-column layouts that may not render optimally in all assistive technology configurations.
