Who We Are

This website is operated by Jenny Tate, Mortgage Agent Level 1 (FSRA licence #M22002086), operating under Tango Financial Inc. (FSRA #13691). When we say "we" or "us" in this policy, we mean Jenny Tate in her capacity as a licensed mortgage agent in Ontario. This site is operated in compliance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What Data We Collect and How

We collect personal information in a few specific ways:

Contact form (Netlify Forms): When you fill out the "Send Jenny a Message" form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, service type, and message. This data is stored on Netlify's servers (Netlify Inc., USA) until manually deleted.
Calendly booking widget: When you book a discovery call, Calendly LLC (USA) collects your name, email, and meeting preferences. This data is governed by Calendly's own privacy policy and retention schedule.
Google Analytics GA4: This site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it. GA4 collects anonymized browsing data including pages visited, session duration, device type, and approximate location at the city or country level. This data does not identify you personally. Google LLC processes this data in the USA.
Mortgage calculator (third-party iframe): The calculator tool embedded on our calculator page is provided by a third party at mortgagerenew-wmhtsvee.manus.space. Any data you enter into the calculator is processed by that provider. We do not control, receive, or store calculator inputs. That provider's own privacy policy governs how your data is handled.

Why We Collect It

Contact form: To respond to your mortgage inquiry. Submitting the form provides consent for Jenny Tate to contact you about your inquiry (service communication). Marketing communications require the separate opt-in checkbox on the form.
Calendly: To schedule and manage discovery calls.
Google Analytics: To understand how visitors use the site and improve the content and user experience.
Calculator: To provide mortgage estimates directly to you. We do not use your calculator inputs for any purpose.

Who Processes Your Data

Three third-party processors handle personal data collected through this site:

Netlify Inc. (USA) processes and stores contact form submissions on their servers.
Calendly LLC (USA) manages meeting booking data.
Google LLC (USA) processes anonymized analytics data through Google Analytics GA4.

The calculator is operated by an independent third party. Their jurisdiction and data handling practices are governed by their own policy.

Data Retention

Form data: Retained by Netlify until manually deleted by us.
Analytics data: Retained per Google's default GA4 retention setting (14 months).
Calendly data: Retained per Calendly's own retention policy.

Cookies

Google Analytics uses analytics cookies to track anonymized usage patterns. These are not advertising or remarketing cookies. Calendly may set cookies when the booking widget loads on the page. No advertising or marketing cookies are used on this site.

When you visit this site for the first time, a cookie notice asks you to accept or decline analytics. If you decline, Google Analytics is disabled for your session. You can also use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on at any time.

Cross-Border Data Transfers

Data collected through this site may be processed in the United States by Netlify, Google, and Calendly. These companies operate under standard contractual protections and recognized compliance frameworks. By submitting your information, you acknowledge this transfer.

Your Rights Under PIPEDA

As a Canadian resident, you have the right under PIPEDA to:

Access the personal information we hold about you.
Correct any inaccurate or incomplete information.
Withdraw consent for collection or use, subject to legal or contractual limitations.
Request deletion where retention is no longer necessary or legally required.
File a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada if you believe your rights have been violated.

We Do Not Sell Your Data

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for commercial or marketing purposes. Your information is never passed to data brokers or advertising networks.
